Keep a visual record of your markers, colored pencils, and gel pens with this printable swatch sheet template.
Sometimes, trying to find a specific color for your coloring book can be tricky, especially when you have a lot of different colors to choose from. In addition, the color printed on a coloring pencil or pen sometimes looks different from how it looks on paper.
That’s why using a swatch sheet is a terrific method for keeping art supplies organized.
You make a swatch sheet by coloring a sample of each of your pens, pencils, or markers. Be sure to write the name or number next to the color. Learn more about color swatch sheets and how to use them with this tutorial: How to Make a Color Swatch Sheet.
Once you finish swatching your colors, keep the completed swatch sheet with your coloring supplies so you can use it any time you are coloring.
